It’s been nearly six months since our Clinic Director, Dr Damien Bezzina, officially opened our doors to the Canberra and regional community. We would like to say a massive thank you to all our incredible patients, both new and old, for your support and for trusting us to take care of your skin health.
As a medical skin cancer clinic, we exist to provide our wonderful patients with timely, expert skin cancer care. Our mission has always been simple: we look after your skin through advanced skin cancer detection, proactive prevention strategies and expert procedural work for skin cancer and lumps and bumps.
Now in the second half of 2026, we wanted to let you know about some exciting additions to our skin cancer clinic work.
Whilst our core focus has been, and will continue to be, medical and procedural skin cancer services, along with our lumps and bumps procedures, we are adding to our aesthetic services. This is a very exciting time for the clinic team, especially as we welcome Aesthetic Nurse Kieu to the team.
Skin rehab is a term we like. Think of it as physical therapy, but exclusively for your skin. It’s about well-ageing, focusing on the skin barrier and achieving a refreshed ‘you’. We don’t do plastic! We make you feel like you again, with subtle changes that make you feel and look a million dollars!
We achieve this through our collaborative, doctor-led plans and expert aesthetic nurse treatments. Our treatments don’t include harsh chemicals, acid peels or aggressive agents. For us, it’s about bucking the skincare product trend of ‘actives’ and getting back to fabulous, hand-picked skincare products and treatments to achieve a beautiful you!
Perimenopausal and menopausal skin and male skin health are our areas of expertise, with great success in the art of subtle treatments and skincare for the middle-aged person. Dr Bezzina ensures every treatment is about your specific skin needs, whether it’s treatments or products!
Yes, we did say male skin health! Thankfully, more men are seeking help in achieving and maintaining healthy, great-looking skin. However, we understand that some men don’t find ‘beauty’ clinics a place for them, and that’s why our medical clinic can help break down barriers to access. We’re not about glitz or an overly fussy clinic. It’s comfortable for men and women alike!
Our fabulous Aesthetic Nurse Kieu is a key player, a registered nurse, qualified beauty therapist and aspiring skin clinician providing an expert level of treatment, from state-of-the-art laser to facials, microdermabrasion and much more! Kieu is here to help.
We have the only current model of the multi-wavelength Lumenis Stellar M22 Laser in the ACT. It’s not simply dual-wavelength like most other lasers, giving it a unique edge.
