ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man involved in an assault in the city in April.
“About 3am on Friday, 18 April 2025, four men were sitting on a park bench on Lonsdale Street in Braddon, when they were approached by a man unknown to them,” a statement by ACT Policing said.
“The unknown man struck one of the men in the face before fleeing.
“The man is described as of a large build with short dark hair.
“He was wearing a bright multi-coloured button up shirt, grey shorts, and white shoes at the time of the incident.”
In an update released on 7 May, ACT Policing said with the public’s assistance the man had been identified.
Police are urging if you can identify the man or anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote 8025442. Information can be provided anonymously.
