Series so far

England have an unassailable 2-0 series lead with just one game to play, having batted first in both matches and winning each of them by just 8 runs.

The visitors posted 8-208 in the first T20I in Perth and some quality death bowling helped seal the win. Alex Hales was the man of the match for England, smashing 84 off 51 deliveries, while Mark Wood took 3 crucial wickets. For the Aussies, Nathan Ellis led the way with the ball, claiming 3-20 off his four overs, while David Warner belted 73 off 44.

In the second match of the series, Australia had the Poms on the ropes early at 4-54, before Dawid Malan (82 off 49) and Moeen Ali (44 off 27) put together a 92-run partnership. The Aussies just kept losing wickets at crucial stages in the run chase and ultimately came up short once again.
