At about 6am on Sunday 8 March, the man allegedly sexually assaulted a female relative at a home in Canberra’s south.

The incident was reported to police, and the man was arrested when he returned to the residence later that morning.

He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today, Monday 9 March, charged with reckless sexual intercourse without consent.

If you or someone you know has been affected by sexual violence, you can report to police by attending a police station or calling 131444.

You can also submit an online report for historical sexual assault for incidents that occurred more than six months ago.
