A man has been charged over an alleged drink driving incident in Murrumbateman, which is about 30 kilometres north-west of Canberra.
NSW Police Force said about 1.15pm on Monday 22 September, a 46-year-old man was driving a Holden Commodore sedan when it became bogged on the verge of MacIntosh Circuit.
“Members of the public went to check on the man and noticed he was well affected by alcohol,” the police statement said.
“Police from The Hume Police District arrived soon after and the man was subject to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.
“He was arrested and taken to Yass Police Station where a secondary breath analysis returned a reading of 0.351.
“He was issued a Court Attendance Notice for drive with high range prescribed concentration of alcohol.
“He is due to appear before Yass Local Court on Thursday 30 October 2025.”
