Canberra’s top athletes, teams, and sporting organisations have been named finalists for the 2025 CBR Sport Awards, held later this month.

The awards honour excellence, resilience, and innovation in sport, and showcases the diversity and strength of local talent, from grassroots champions to international competitors.

Yvette Berry MLA, Minister for Sport and Recreation, said sport is a cornerstone of our community, and this year’s finalists represent the very best of Canberra’s sporting talent.

“Following the enormous success of the Australian Masters Games last month, Canberra is continuing to demonstrate why we are a true sporting capital,” Ms Berry said.

“From local clubs to world-class athletes, the CBR Sport Awards highlight the passion and commitment of our athletes, teams, and sporting organisations. Year after year I am inspired by the depth of sporting excellence across our city.
