Sadly, a 43-year-old man has died during a crash near Lake George overnight.
At about 8:50pm on Sunday 2 August, emergency services were called to the intersection of Tarago and Currandooley Road, Lake George, about 40km northeast of Canberra, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Monaro Police District attended and found that a Ford utility had crashed, causing the vehicle to roll and eject the driver from the car.
The driver was treated by a passing driver before NSW Ambulance paramedics attended to continue treatment. However, he died at the scene.
Police have commenced an investigation into the incident, and a report will be prepared for the information of the NSW Coroner.
