Man on bail arrested after crash into Kambah home

ACT Policing has arrested a 33‑year‑old Duffy man after he allegedly crashed into a home in Kambah yesterday afternoon.

At about 1:50pm yesterday, Tuesday 10 March, police received reports that a vehicle had crashed into the front living room of a home in Kambah, causing significant damage.

The man who was allegedly driving the vehicle fled the scene on foot immediately after the collision.

Police searched the surrounding area throughout the afternoon before locating the man in the early evening hiding at a nearby residence.

He was subsequently arrested and transported to the ACT Watch House.

The man, who is subject to bail conditions, will face the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with damaging property.
