Police seeking witnesses after motorcycle collision

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of a collision yesterday, 4 January, on the Monaro Highway just north of the intersection with Lanyon Drive, Hume.

The collision between a silver sedan and a black Suzuki motorcycle, occurred about 1.45pm.

Prior to the collision, the motorcycle was believed to be travelling north on the Monaro Highway and was merging from the Lanyon Drive intersection. The collision caused damage to the front right-hand side of the car which failed to stop following the collision. 

The motorcyclist was conveyed to The Canberra Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Police would like to speak with anyone with information about this incident in order to generate a full picture of the collision.
