A Scullin man received a happy distraction to his workday today with the news he won $102,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The happy winner scored the $100,000 first prize in Lucky Lotteries super jackpot draw 10445 that was drawn today, Monday 1 March .
As well as winning the first prize, the Scullin man also won a consolation prize of $2,000 boosting his total windfall to $102,000.
Speaking with an official from The Lott this afternoon, the winner admitted he never expected to receive a call with such good news.
โYouโve got to be kidding me,โ he said loudly.
โHang on, I am at work, let me go to a quiet room …
โThis is definitely worth celebrating. I am going to go out for a nice dinner and have a few drinks tonight.โ
When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, he said most of it would probably go on the mortgage.
โBut I need to do something to spoil myself. I might do a few upgrades to my car.โ
