Two people have died following a crash on the Kings Highway near Batemans Bay this afternoon.

At about 1:30pm, Sunday 21 June, emergency services were called to the Kings Highway near Old Bolaro Road, Nelligen (approximately 15km north west of Batemans Bay), after reports of a crash.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District arrived to find two vehicles had collided.

The drivers and sole occupants – two males aged 23 and 59 – died at the scene.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident is underway by police.

The Kings Highway is currently closed in both directions. Drivers are advised to check livetraffic.com for updates.
