What’s on around Canberra this weekend, 20-22 October

With the sun and warmth returning for part of this weekend, 20-22 October, Canberra Daily plans to make the most of the fine weather while it’s here and encourages you to do the same.

Enjoy some fun in the sun country style at Murrumbateman Field Days, or peek inside cultures from around the globe as embassies and high commissions open their doors in Windows to the World.

The third weekend of the month means the Community Markets return to Calwell and Queanbeyan, and the Kippax Marketplace indoor market returns to Kippax.

If you prefer the comfort of four walls and a roof, check out the opening weekend of Archie 100: A Century of the Archibald Prize at the National Portrait Gallery.
