What’s On: Celebrate Greek National Day at the Zoo

The National Zoo and Aquarium celebrates Greek National Day all weekend with Greek-inspired food, activities and heaps of fun. Take your littles explorers on a journey through the zoo as you learn about beasts and monsters from Greek Mythology.

The Rhino Bistro will be serving classic Greek fare that will be sure to be a hit with the whole family, whilst everyone prepares to participate in activities in our Viewing Park, celebrating the Olympic Games!

Kick back as you listen to some traditional Greek Music from Stratos Gianakakis, Canberra’s premier Bouzouki player and wedding specialist and take a happy snap with the roving mascots as they get into the spirit. Canberra’s Centre of Adventure has never been more fun.

  • When: 28 and 29 March
  • Where: National Zoo and Aquarium, 999 Lady Denman Dr, Weston
  • Website: nationalzoo.com.au

Acing that presentation

Working at a university means I see a lot of presentations. Every semester, my students stand up and present their ideas, research and projects.
