See Arnold Schwarzenegger at his best in these two crowd-pleasing, science-fiction spectaculars from the early 90s at the NFSA’s double-feature tonight – hasta la vista, baby!

Often regarded as one of the finest science-fiction movies of the 90s and a rare instance, like The Godfather: Part II, where the sequel is better than the original, Terminator 2: Judgement will be screened at The Arc Cinema from 6pm tonight.

Korean-born Australian singer-songwriter Dami Im brings her first ever solo tour to Canberra for a special and intimate evening of Piano, Songs & Stories.

Beginning her musical journey as a virtuoso pianist, Dami is renowned for her emotive and powerful vocals since capturing our hearts in 2013 when she won The X Factor Australia.

Piano, Songs & Stories provides a unique insight into a remarkable performer and her experience as she brings new life to her chart-topping hits and fan favourites.

Spirited Away 20th Anniversary screening at Dendy Canberra, 23-24 July

Dendy Canberra is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Academy Award winning Studio Ghibli classic with three screenings this weekend, 6.20pm on Friday 23 July, then 3.45pm and 6.20pm on Saturday 24 July; book here.

After the unanticipated roaring global success of Melbourne comedian Hannah Gadsby’s 2018 show Nanette and then her 2019 show Douglas saw her tour the world, COVID-19 has seen her bunker down back at home.

Fortunately, being in Australia at this particular moment in history means that Hannah is able to premiere Body of Work in her homeland.

Brahms’s German Requiem at Llewellyn Hall, 24 July

Emerging from the enforced hibernation of 2020, the Canberra Choral Society and National Capital Orchestra are incredibly pleased to continue their traditional annual collaboration with the performance of Johannes Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem.
