Wild Explorers will be running this weekend at the National Zoo and Aquarium highlight one of Africa’s most successful predators, the African Wild Dog. This endangered species is endemic to Southern and Eastern Africa and is one of the most unique hunters on the continent. A special Keeper Talk with one of the zoo’s Carnivore Keepers will run at 11:10am each day over the weekend at the African Wild Dog habitat, as well as a commemorative medallion for sale.
All the activities are free with admission and memberships.
