Abode Hotels set to open ninth hotel, second in Woden

Abode Hotels is set to open Abode Phillip in June, representing the Canberra-based company’s ninth property in their Abode hotel portfolio.

The new property is located at 6 Furzer Street, Phillip, not far from Abode Woden at 10 Bowes Street.

According to Brett Walker, General Manager of Iconic Hotels by Geocon, Abode Phillip is set to redefine the standards of contemporary accommodation in Canberra’s vibrant south, catering to both business and leisure travellers.

“Our aim is to provide our guests with a comfortable and convenient home away from home, offering a blend of modern amenities and prime location,” Mr Walker said.

Boasting 54 self-contained apartment-style rooms, Abode Phillip promises a stay that combines style, functionality, and comfort. Each room will be equipped with modern amenities including kitchenette facilities, a washer/dryer, and Staycast streaming, ensuring guests have everything they need for a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Strategically located just a stone’s throw away from major shopping and dining precincts, entertainment venues, parks, and public transport hubs, Abode Phillip offers ready accessibility to Canberra’s key attractions.

Mr Walker said excitement is already building for the hotel opening, and bookings are now open for stays starting Friday 7 June.
