Chargrill’d Eatery

Not everyone would open a new food venue in the midst of a pandemic, but that didn’t stop Chris Felemegas and brother Peter recently opening Chargrill’d Eatery in Belconnen. The “chicken shop with food” serves up everything, from cakes, coffees, breakfast, lunch and dinner, with something for everyone, including burgers, wraps, pasta, Southern fried chicken and, of course, chargrilled chicken. Chris says businesses has been “very good” since opening, but COVID-19 has meant they “want to get a little busier”. He says everything at Chargrill’d is family-style cooking, with big portions and good prices: “When I opened this shop, with my brother, we said ‘we don’t want to lose anyone’… we said we want to cater for the vegetarians, for young, old, for everyone.”
