Crookwell Garden Festival
Indulge in all the Upper Lachlan Shire has to offer over the weekend of 9-10 November for the Crookwell Garden Festival.
This year there are nine gardens on display, three of which are town gardens, and all have something unique to share.
Rose lovers will enjoy the Turner, McFaul and Cummins gardens, each of these found in the beautiful pastoral valley east of Crookwell; Kiloren garden is a glorious estate garden designed by the late Edna Walling in 1951 and remains largely unchanged from Walling’s original design; the Kensit garden features plantings and art; the Gay and Jackson gardens located in Crookwell township offer an abundance of plant variation in cleverly designed courtyard spaces. These gardens will prove great inspiration for visitors with small plots.
The 5th annual festival will also feature a Garden Lovers Market at the Crookwell Showground on Saturday morning, showcasing local art and sculpture, plant sales, tools and gardening lines.
