Canberrans love As Nature Intended for its seasonal menu that heroes organic produce and whole foods, but did you know they also stock a huge range of organic groceries?
The beloved café and store, which now calls Fyshwick home after moving from Belconnen, is fully stocked up and ready to serve Canberrans with a smile, whether that’s for coffee made with organic milk, one of their mouthwatering meals, or for the weekly grocery shop.
There’s a wide range of fruit, vegetables, meats and other whole foods, all sourced directly from the producers via Eco Farms and with a certified organic guarantee. They also stock an extensive range of products for those with dietary requirements, including myriad gluten-free options and vegan pastries, breads, and desserts made in house.
As Nature Intended’s owner Beata Wilder is committed to serving her customers dishes made using the best and the freshest ingredients, which is why every dish on the menu uses the produce from the in-house grocery store.
That also means you can stop in for breakfast or lunch, then stock up on ingredients to recreate the As Nature Intended experience at home!
“We care about the environment,” Beata says. “We have very little waste in the shop.
“We give all our scraps to [animal] sanctuaries, people come to collect the coffee grounds and we use biodegradable and compostable takeaway coffee cups.
“We also make our coffee using organic milk.”
As Nature Intended is open seven days, Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm and Sundays 8am-4pm, for all your organic grocery needs. Find them on Dairy Road in Fyshwick – with plenty of free parking out the front!
