$100k worth of jewellery stolen from NSW South Coast antiques store

Police are appealing for information following a break-in at an antiques store on the NSW South Coast at the weekend, where $100,000 worth of jewellery was allegedly stolen.

Between 4pm on Friday 7 April and 9am on Saturday8 April, an antique store on Imlay Street, Eden, was broken into, with three glass cabinets smashed and jewellery allegedly stolen.

The items taken include 220 gold and silver rings, as well as several pendants, bracelets, earrings and brooches, totalling $100,000. The jewellery is both contemporary and antique, and is easily identifiable.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

As part of inquiries, police have released images of the stolen items, in the hope that someone recognises them.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information – including nearby stores with CCTV – is urged to call Eden Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
