13-year-old boy fifth arrest in relation to Glenn Walewicz murder

A 13-year-old Moncrieff boy has been arrested in relation to the 2021 murder of Phillip man, Glenn Walewicz.  

The 13-year-old was arrested by ACT Policing Homicide Detectives yesterday, Wednesday 15 June. 

Although he is the fifth arrest, he is the third person to be charged with Murder (Joint Commission).  

He has also been charged with attempted aggravated burglary and will face the ACT Children’s Court this morning, Thursday 16 June. 

Last week, a 24-year-old Baradine man was the fourth person arrested in relation to the murder, joining a 19-year-old Dunlop man, an 18-year-old Page man and a 38-year-old Holt woman.
