17 new COVID-19 cases in Southern NSW

The Southern NSW Local Health District has recorded 17 new COVID-19 cases to 8pm last night, with Queanbeyan, Googong, Batemans Bay, Yass and Goulburn all recording infections.

Queanbeyan recorded another three cases with two of those close contacts of previous cases and one under investigation.

There are two new cases in Googong that are both close contacts of existing cases.

Yass has recorded another five cases with four linked and one under investigation.

There are four new cases in Batemans Bay that have all been linked to the current cluster in the region.

Goulburn has three fresh cases that are all linked to existing cases.

There are also a number of venues of concern in the region that can be found here.

People are being encouraged to get tested if they have even the mildest symptoms. Click here to find a NSW testing site.
