18-year hospitality expert Stephen Hollow to lead QT Canberra

With 18 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Stephen Hollow has been appointed as the General Manager of QT Canberra.

QT Canberra, part of EVT, features 205 guest rooms, the capital’s largest conferencing and event facilities, and signature restaurant, Capitol Bar & Grill, known for its award-wining steak and wine program and a popular destination for locals and visitors.

Mr Hollow’s appointment reflects his passion for the QT brand, transferring from his home state of Western Australia where he has been operating as Hotel Manager of QT Perth. With a track record of results and a stellar 18-year career in hospitality, his relocation to the ACT promises to bring a refreshed approach to QT Canberra.

Prior to joining EVT, Mr Hollow has held positions as General Manager of Rockpool Bar & Grill Perth, and an opening Food and Beverage Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Perth, where his leadership was instrumental in its inception.

Mr Hollow brings enthusiasm as he assumes leadership of the iconic Canberran establishment.

“Since joining QT in July 2022, I have had the privilege of working with inspiring industry leaders. I’m thrilled to be leading this team as QT Canberra enter its next chapter,” he says.

Group General Manager of QT Hotels & Resorts, Callum Kennedy, said “Stephen is a valued member of our leadership team, having played a pivotal role in the operational delivery and success at the award-winning QT Perth”.

“I look forward to seeing Stephen’s progression at QT and EVT,” Mr Kennedy says.
