The ACT has recorded its fourth road fatality for 2021 following the death of a 19-year-old man in a two-vehicle collision in Hume in the early hours of this morning, Monday 8 March.
About 1.20am, emergency services were called to a collision between a Toyota Corolla and a Honda sedan on the Monaro Highway.
ACT Ambulance Service paramedics attended to a 19-year-old driver, however he was declared deceased at the scene.
The other driver was transported to hospital for assessment.
Road Policing’s Major Collision Team attended the collision scene and will conduct an investigation of the circumstances of the collision. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
