  • Threatened to burn down the house where the woman was living in Greenway.
  • Sent threatening messages, including threats to kill the woman.

The incidents were reported to police yesterday (15 January), and the man was arrested at his Greenway home later that evening.

He is due to face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning, charged with aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm, choking, suffocating, and strangling another person, as well as making demands with threats to kill or inflict grievous bodily harm.
