UPDATE on 31 January 2024: – ACT Policing have confirmed that they found missing woman Elise Howard on 9 January 2024 and she was sadly located deceased. There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for the Coroner. 

BEFORE: ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 50-year-old woman Elise Howard.

Elise has not been seen or heard from since about 10pm last night, Monday 8 January, and was last seen in Hackett.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm – 160cm tall, with a slim build, pale complexion, shoulder length dark brown hair, and wears glasses.

Elise is believed to be travelling in a white Mazda 3 with ACT registration YNG06L.

Police and Elise’s family hold concerns for her welfare, and are requesting the public’s assistance to locate her.
