Update: 69-year-old Denise Richens found

UPDATE: ACT Policing reports the missing 69-year-old woman they posted about yesterday has been found safe and well, and thanks the Canberra community “for all your help”.


ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 69-year-old woman Denise Richens.   

Denise has not been seen or heard from since 27 April 2022 and was reported as missing by a family member this week. Denise was last seen at her home in Weetangera.  

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm (5’5”) tall, with short white hair, blue eyes and of a solid build. Denise’s left hand has three fingers.

Denise may be driving a white 1992 Nissan Pulsar with ACT registration YNM47Q.  

Police and Denise’s family hold concerns for her welfare and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating her.   

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police in locating Denise is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444. Please quote reference number 7130068.
