Update 10:05 AM – Emergency services are beginning to depart the scene and traffic is reopening in the southbound direction.

Before – Emergency services are on scene at motor vehicle accident southbound on the Tuggeranong Parkway, near the intersection of Cotter Road.

ACT Ambulance Service, ACT Fire & Rescue & ACT Policing are in attendance after a van flipped, blocking both lanes.

Both southbound lanes and one northbound lane are closed at this time.

The public are urged to avoid the area and use an alternative route.

It is not yet known how many were involved in the accident or their status.
