Googong Foreshores closed during total fire ban

Googong Foreshores will be closed tomorrow (Thursday 16 March) due to a total fire ban declared for the Queanbeyan-Palerang council area in NSW.

For your safety, Googong Foreshores’ recreation areas, boating ramp, car park, and walks will all be closed while the fire ban is in place, the ACT Government stated.

Googong Foreshores will reopen to the public when the total fire ban has been lifted.

Further information on the fire ban affecting Googong Foreshores and the Queanbeyan-Palerang council area can be found on the NSW Rural Fire Services website.
