Driver dies following truck crash near Goulburn

A 22-year-old man from Queensland has died following a single-vehicle truck crash near Goulburn this morning, Wednesday 22 March, NSW Police advise.

About 6am today, emergency services were called to the Hume Highway at Boxers Creek, about 10km north of Goulburn, following reports of a truck crash.

On arrival, NSW Police officers from The Hume Police District found the prime mover had left the roadway and rolled onto the median strip.

The driver, a 22-year-old Queensland man, died at the scene.

A crime scene was established, and inquiries are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the NSW Coroner.
