New gallery opening a new chapter for Scott Leggo

The move to a new gallery space in Kingston also reveals new perspectives on photography for renowned Australian landscape photographer and Canberra business man, Scott Leggo.

The Air Force veteran now combines his exceptional landscape photography skills, and business acumen, with his love of flying, taking more photos from the air, while safely hanging out the door of a helicopter over remote and inaccessible terrain. In a significant coup for Scott, His Excellency Governor-General David Hurley, who is a strong supporter of Defence veterans, officially opened the new gallery today, Wednesday 14 June.

Speaking of Scott’s previous military service, the Governor-General said, “the opening of the new Scott Leggo Gallery is a shining example of the contribution that veterans make to the community once their service days are over”.

The all-new gallery represents another chapter for this multi-award-winning photography business. The new gallery is a step up from Scott’s previous gallery of the past five years just a few doors away. Designed by Yolk Design Studio, it sets a benchmark for a gallery retail space, not just in Canberra, but in Australia. With trained sales consultants to help customers select the right artwork, it reflects a contemporary approach to creating an exceptional shopping experience.
