School Holiday Activity Guide

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are taking over South.Point these school holidays!

Get ready to attack the TMNT Mutant Mayhem Ninja Course! Let the kids expel all that energy as they climb, jump, crawl and leap through the Ninja course, located in Centre Court.

Spanning over 24 metres, featuring squeeze-through holes and X beams, every child who conquers the course takes home their own felt coloured eye mask. The little ones are not left out either – the Baby TMNT course is for those whose height is 90cm and below.

Plus, you can meet the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

The whole gang, Mikey, Raph, Leo and Don will be there to hang out, hand out high-fives, taking pictures and comparing ninja moves, BOOYAKASHA!

COWABUNGA! IT’S HOLIDAY TIME AT LIMELIGHT

School Holidays and movies; they just go together like pepperoni and pizza.

These holidays, the pizza loving Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back on the big screen at Limelight Cinemas, in a new interpretation from the mind of Seth Rogen. This Turtles movie brings a refreshed and energetic animation style, an amazing voice cast including Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, John Cena, Jackie Chan, Post Malone … and Australia’s very own Rose Byrne. The movie has been receiving rave reviews from critics and fans of all ages, boasting an amazing 96% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and it’s been huge smash at the US box office.

As a special treat, the Turtles themselves will be making live appearances at South.Point Shopping Centre throughout the holidays, so don’t just catch the movie – meet Michelangelo, Leonardo and the gang themselves these holidays!

Turtles aren’t the only super-heroes hitting the cinemas these holidays, however, as DC brings Blue Beetle to the big screen; a refreshingly family-focused super hero movie, with plenty of humour and heart. We reckon this is actually one of the best movies DC has put out in a while, and we’re not the only ones. With an audience rating of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, this one’s proving to be a crowd favourite, and we thoroughly recommend catching it.

If Beetles or Turtles aren’t for you, we’ve got the heart-warming Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken, and a new instalment from the always popular Paw Patrol gang.

Limelight Cinemas will also have a bumper program of free artistic activities that will engage kids and make their trip to the movies memorable. Colouring and activity books, face painting, origami and more are all in store – and we’ve got terrific value family tickets available in variations of Admit 3 or 4, priced from $33.

The fun doesn’t need to end with the holidays – and Limelight have an amazing lineup of weekend movie favourites through October and November for just $7 a ticket.
