A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing another man in Nowra on the NSW south coast overnight.
About 6.50pm, Monday 9 October, emergency services were called to Isabel Close, Nowra, following reports of a stabbing.
On arrival, NSW Police officers from South Coast Police District found a 32-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his torso.
He was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was airlifted to St George Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Detectives established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
Following inquiries, police attended a home at Bomaderry, where they arrested a 19-year-old man about 9pm that same night.
He was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with wound person intend to cause grievous bodily harm (DV).
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Wednesday 18 October.
