UPDATE: Clarice Hanson found safe

UPDATE: Assistance from the public led to the missing woman being located safely in Chifley a short time ago. 

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 77-year-old woman Clarice Hanson. 

Clarice has not been seen or heard from since 3.30pm this afternoon, Tuesday 17 October, and was last seen in Pearce.  

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with short grey hair, blue eyes, and a slim build. 

She was last seen wearing a pink jumper with gold sequins, black pants and is believed to not be wearing footwear. She is believed to be on foot. 

Police and Clarice’s family hold concerns for her welfare, and are requesting the public’s assistance to locate her.  

Anyone who has seen Clarice, or who may have any information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact ACT Policing on 131 444. Please quote reference number P2200871.
