Drugs and cash seized in Amaroo warrant

ACT Policing has seized drugs, cash, and other items during warrant activity in Amaroo and Casey as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

On Thursday, 9 November, members from ACT Policing’s Territory Targeting team conducted warrants in relation to a 21-year-old man, searching his person and vehicle after he was located in Casey. During the search, police seized a quantity of cannabis and a mobile phone.

Police simultaneously executed a warrant at a residence in Amaroo, where they located approximately 200g of cocaine, cash, and numerous items consistent with drug trafficking.

No arrests have been made, however investigations are ongoing and charges related to money laundering and drug trafficking are expected.
