2024 ACT SCHOOL TERM DATES
Term 1:
- New students start school on Tuesday 30 January.
- Continuing students return to school on Wednesday 31 January.
- Term 1 ends on Friday 12 April.
Term 2:
- Students start school on Tuesday 30 April and the term ends on Friday 5 July.
Term 3:
- Students start school on Tuesday 23 July and the term end on Friday 27 September.
Term 4:
- Students start school on Tuesday 15 October and the term ends on Tuesday 17 December.
Please note, dates may differ for Independent and Catholic schools and the Term 4 end date could be earlier for ACT public secondary school students.

Daylight Savings Time Ends on Sunday 7 April.
Daylight Savings Time Starts on Sunday 6 October.
