Discover Patissez Cafe: Where flavour meets community

Nestled in the heart of Manuka Lawns, you’ll find us—Patissez Cafe—a place where friends gather, taste buds are delighted, and where every bite and sip tells a story. Established in 2016, we started as a small, unassuming cafe, but have since grown to become the go-to destination for our iconic FreakShakes, gourmet tacos, and hearty brunch offerings. Our journey from a humble beginning to a local favourite is a testament to our passion for creating unforgettable food experiences.

Our FreakShakes have become the talk of the town—impossibly indulgent and downright fun, they’re perfect for treating yourself or sharing with friends. Each shake is a visual and flavourful masterpiece, piled high with an array of decadent toppings that never fail to impress. Meanwhile, our tacos have earned a devoted following, offering a delicious twist on traditional Mexican flavours, made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients that highlight the best of what Canberra has to offer. And for those who crave the perfect start to their day, our brunch menu is packed with options that range from classic to adventurous, ensuring there’s something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a comforting plate of bacon and eggs or something more daring and new.

Beginning this year, we launched our Rewards Program as a way to give back to our loyal customers who have supported us along the way. By simply registering for a free membership, you’ll enjoy a free coffee for every six purchased, with no strings attached. In just over five months, we hit our first major milestone, with over 1,000 free coffees redeemed—a clear sign of the love and support we’ve received from the community. As we move forward, we’re excited to announce that even more benefits are on the way, ensuring there’s always something to look forward to on your next visit.

In addition to our Rewards Program, we’re always finding new ways to stay connected with our customers. In July, we launched our official WhatsApp account to make it even easier to stay in the loop. You can now text us to make a booking, order a takeaway, or even make special requests, such as catering orders or gift boxes. Simply follow us on +61 402 808 191, and you’ll have direct access to everything Patissez has to offer at your fingertips!

As we head into the next season, we’re thrilled to share some exciting updates that are sure to delight your palate. This winter, warm up with our Creamy Chicken & Leek Soup, a must-try seasonal special. We start by sautéing the leeks until they’re golden, releasing their gentle, aromatic flavours, while the chicken is simmered to perfection, ensuring every bite is tender and flavourful. Complemented by a piece of sourdough toast, each spoonful offers a cosy embrace, with the subtle richness of the broth melting on your tongue. But hurry—this soup is a limited-time special, so don’t miss out!

Beef Nacho

Looking ahead to spring, we’re excited to introduce our take on the traditional Japanese Tonkatsu, a crispy fried pork cutlet that’s destined to become your new favourite. We begin with a premium cut of pork, carefully breaded with golden panko crumbs and fried to a crisp, golden brown. The result is a perfect balance of tender, juicy meat encased in a light, crispy coating that shatters with every bite. Served with our signature, secret tonkatsu sauce, which offers a rich, sweet taste that blends perfectly with the meat, this dish is sure to make a lasting impression.
