The final of the International Diplomatic Futsal Cup was held on Friday night, 27 September, at the Mpowerdome in Fadden, where Red Machine (Russia) claimed a 6-2 victory over Chile.

In the play-off for third place, African Stars triumphed over Latinos.

Director of ACT Futsal, Adam Villatobas, said the tournament featured six teams and was played over 10 weeks.

The participating teams included Red Machine (Russia), Chile, Latino All Stars (a combined team from South America), Belgusa (Belgium & USA), African Stars, and the British High Commission.

Mr Villatobas praised the high standard of play and hailed the event as a great success.
