ACT records 10th road fatality after e-bike collision in Kambah

The ACT has recorded its tenth road fatality for 2024 after a 66-year-old cyclist on an e-bike collided with a wall at an underpass in Kambah yesterday.

At about 5:10pm on Sunday 25 November, police received a report of the collision, which occurred on a bike path adjacent to Athllon Drive. Emergency services treated the rider at the scene, but he was sadly declared deceased a short time later.

The Major Collision Team from ACT Road Policing is investigating the circumstances of the incident, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
