A person has died following a crash between a truck and a ute on the Princes Highway at East Lynne, about 30km south of Ulladulla, this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 1:30pm today, Thursday 28 November. The utie driver died at the scene and has yet to be formally identified.

The male truck driver was uninjured and has been taken to Batemans Bay Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from South Coast Police District have launched an investigation into the incident. The Princes Highway remains closed in both directions at East Lynne, with updates available via Live Traffic at livetraffic.com.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
