Construction has officially commenced at The Griffin on Constitution Avenue, set to be Parkes’ only residential address.
The development will comprise one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses, available in a number of floor plans, across three buildings that will pay homage to their home within the Parliamentary Triangle.
Architect and project director, Ewald de Weerd of DBI Design, said the development’s podium gardens are “so large that we could have had another building in the space”.
“Being over 1,000sqm, these gardens are a crucial part of our vision to celebrate space,” de Weerd said.
“The Griffin is not your usual high-rise development.
“We could have increased the number of homes but that was never our intention. We deliberately have maximised space, inside and out so that these homes will give residents a lifestyle balance that is unique.”
