Zapari Group’s Molonglo Falls development has recorded another suburb price record, with the sale of a four-bedroom penthouse for $780,000.
It is believed the sale of a three-bedroom apartment at Molonglo Falls for $600,000 broke the Coombs suburb record for the sale of an apartment, with another sale of $602,000 recorded shortly after.
Zapari Group CEO Nick Skepev said the company is listening to buyer feedback with regards to quality offerings in the Molonglo Valley area.
“Molonglo Falls is the perfect opportunity to fill this gap and deliver exceptional quality and value to the market,” he said.
The ground floor of the building has been redesigned, with properties combined to create larger residences in response to buyer demand.
The penthouse purchaser, Canberra local Andre Mundzic, said he and his wife were on the lookout for an apartment with space, “at least” three bedrooms and two living areas.
“There seemed to be plenty of two bedroom with two living area designs available, but we struggled to find a design that would give us the space we wanted without having to buy a significantly more expensive apartment located at the top of a tall building or having to purchase one located in the outer areas,” he said.
Molonglo Falls, on John Gorton Drive, will be home to 140 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, communal areas like resident lounges, rooftop cinema and bike workshop, as well as well as a biophilic ecosystem design.
