Brumbies heading to the bush in bye week

The Brumbies playing squad will travel to regional Rugby clubs on Tuesday evening as part of the Brumbies to the Bush campaign.

In groups, players and staff, will visit eight Rugby clubs from the country to the coast to help run junior and senior training sessions, and will even put on a barbecue afterwards.

The visits will be held on Tuesday evening, 20 April, and are designed to thank and connect with the wider Brumbies Family, with all those in the community encouraged to attend.

Brumbies coach Dan McKellar said the entire organisation were excited to get out and connect with the wider rugby community.

“Connecting with our community is a key part of the Brumbies organisation and the whole team are really excited to get out and about next week,” said McKellar.

“Everyone involved with our side and professional rugby as a whole has come through the community level and we love getting back to that environment, especially in the country areas where they’re always so hospitable.

“We know we have a lot of support in our region and this is about giving back a little to those who give us so much.”
