Captain Croker returns for the Raiders

Canberra Raiders co-captain Jarrod Croker will return for their clash against the Gold Coast Titans at GIO Stadium on Saturday 3 July.

The 30-year-old has managed just five matches in 2021 after battling shoulder and knee injuries. It will be his first match since round 7 against the Cowboys.

He has been named at left centre with Seb Kris shifting to right centre and the unlucky Matt Timoko relegated to 18th man. It is the only change to the Raiders side that lost to the Dragons last round.

State of Origin stars Josh Papalii and Jack Wighton will back up after the Blues wrapped up the series in Brisbane on Sunday night.

There are also two milestones for Raiders players with halfback Sam Williams lining up for his 100th NRL match and Jordan Rapana his 150th.

The Titans have been boosted by some big inclusion with fullback AJ Brimson returning along with Kevin Proctor, Corey Thompson, Beau Fermor and Sam Lisone.

Tino Fa’asuamaleaui, Moeaki Fotuaika and David Fifita will all back up after being part of the Queensland side.
