Witnesses sought to Lanyon Drive collision

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of a single vehicle collision that occurred on Lanyon Drive on Wednesday, 4 August.

About 9:15pm several vehicles stopped to assist the driver of a blue Holden Commodore, with NSW registration AWN36A that appeared to have been involved in a collision while travelling southbound on Lanyon Drive, in Hume.

A man believed to be the driver of the Commodore, has then left the scene in a maroon Hyundai Getz which had stopped to assist at the collision.

Police are seeking assistance to identify the driver of the Commodore, described as being of Caucasian appearance, average build, with a brown beard, and wearing a bright yellow uniform. 

Anyone that has dash-cam footage or witnessed the incident, can identify the man involved, or has information that can assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6867753. Information can be provided anonymously.
