Spoil your papa with their special Father’s Day menu – choose from Nonna’s lasagna, veal Genovese ragu, eggplant parmigiana, house antipasto and bake-at-home pastries (pain au chocolat or sfogliatella). Quickly pivoting to takeaway only when lockdown hit, Evatt’s “local” has rebooted their takeaway menu to include a selection of bar bites (haloumi fries anyone?), heartier meals and a feed for the kids, while keeping four of your favourite burgers available – Herbert’s signature beef, chicken, porchetta and vego. Open for takeaway only Wednesday-Saturday 4-8pm and Sunday 11am-2.30pm.

The Kingston food hall has pivoted on a dime during lockdown, creating OTIS at Home – fine dining to level up your lockdown experience. OTIS has navigated around the catch of fine dining, made to be eaten immediately after coming off the hotplate. Their weekly offerings include cook-at-home bundles that require minimal preparation and maintain maximum luxury for your tastebuds. For instance, their Father’s Day mix grill lunch features the Wagyu brisket in their signature pepper mix. The wagyu is slow cooked, marinated and prepared in the two days before it arrives at your doorstep, with instructions on how to reheat and plate your meal, easy-peasy. If that’s not fancy enough for Dad, treat him to their ‘Sommelier at Home’ pack, featuring a selection of their favourite OTIS wine list entries, paired with small bites, and tasting notes.

Although their joint location in Fyshwick is temporarily closed, both Kingston and Phillip venues are now offering takeaway burgers and Capital Brewing Co. beers. Hooray! Home delivery of burgers and beers is also available within a 6km radius of the venues. Treat Dad to one of their iconic juicy burgers and a chilled beer at an irresponsible time of day. Their lockdown solution for Father’s Day is thoughtfully curated packs of gourmet meats, cheeses, and stone-baked sourdough, and of course the boozy add-ons.
