One new COVID-19 case in Queanbeyan

The Deputy NSW Premier John Barilaro has confirmed one new COVID-19 case in Queanbeyan this morning, 13 September.

The case is in Karabar and is a household contact of a previously known case.

UPDATE: Woolworths Queanbeyan has been listed as a venue of concern on 9 September between 6.40am and 6.55am and 10 September between 6.15am and 7.10am. Anyone who was at the venue at either of those times must get tested and isolate for 14 days no matter the result.

Mr Barilaro said the case came in after 8pm last night and will be included in tomorrow’s official numbers.

It is the only fresh positive case in the Southern NSW Local Health District announced so far today.

The two cases in Queanbeyan that were announced yesterday were included in the official numbers for today and there are no venues of concern for those cases either.

NSW in total recorded 1257 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 and seven deaths.
