The territory’s vaccination rate continued to inch higher on Thursday, with 97.9 per cent of residents aged over 12 years now fully vaccinated.

Testing rates have remained stable, with 1,747 negative results recorded on Wednesday.

There are now 128 active cases in Canberra with 2,018 total cases in the Territory since the start of the outbreak.

Meanwhile, NSW recorded 271 new coronavirus cases and no deaths, while Victoria reported 1,419 infections and 10 deaths.
