One new COVID-19 case detected in Karabar

The Queanbeyan Palerang LGA has recorded one new COVID-19 infection, with the case located in Karabar.

The case is yet to be linked and remains under investigation.

It is the only new case reported in the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) today.

This brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 594 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan Palerang (10), Snowy Monaro (17), and Eurobodalla (2).

There is currently one person in hospital with the virus.
