NSW registered Ford Falcon seized after Belconnen burnouts

Earlier today, Monday 20 December, a NSW registered Ford Falcon sedan was seized in Charnwood following multiple reports of burnout activity on the weekend.

Between Saturday 18 December and Sunday 19 December, ACT Policing received numerous reports of erratic driving in a number of Belconnen suburbs.

Following investigations by members of ACT Road Policing, the vehicle was identified and it was intercepted earlier today.

The 19-year-old provisional driver of the Falcon will be summonsed to attend the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date to face multiple driving offences.

Police are also seeking any other witnesses who have not already spoken to police as well as any dash-cam footage of the vehicle from the weekend.

Anyone that has information that can assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote 6992011.
